I am using DVD Shrink and Nero 8 and DVD region+css free, trying to shrink Lost Season 5. the problem is when I use either Nero 8 or DVD shrink neither will compress the disc to dvd-5. now before you go asking the obvious, I have the settings set correctly. i even have tried custom settings for a little less then 4400mb, still wont compress.

1) shrink does not work with Nero above version 7

2) shrink cannot handle newer encryptions, instead use latest anydvd or dvdfab

The BPI Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, EMI.
The RIAA Soundexchange Are: SONY, UNIVERSAL, WARNER GROUP, EMI.
The IFPI Are: The same anti consumer lot as listed above!

Thanks for that bonehead. I did try looking at dvdfab. it looks very complicated and not at all user friendly like DVD shrink

Clone dvd works basically the same as dvd shrink....you still aren't able to crack the newer encryptions.

AnyDVD or DVD Fab are needed to crack the encryptions.

@Daveman
The process has been posted here a multitude of times. Dvd Shrink can not crack newer encryptions. As suggested use either AnyDVD or DvdFab to take care of the encryption. Since you already prefer using Dvd Shrink, my recommendation would be picking up AnyDVD and just let it run in the background while using Shrink like normal.
