With Ripit4me no longer updated (my favorite program)and dvdfab deciding not to update regularly the free program (I can't blame them but very disappointed). I've never used any dvd or clone dvd are they two programs that you need to use together?

I think a lot of us are wondering which program to go with now with dvdfab free version going limited update.

What programs does everyone recomend? Criteria is easy to use, price and most importantly effectiveness. The program that tends to work on new releases when they first come out, updated quickly for new protections, etc.

Any useful advice would be appreciated

You'll need AnyDVD/HD & DVDFAB BD to BD.....hand and glove software and will take you into the next gen BLU-RAY. I have lifetime subscriptions to both so I just collect my DVD/BLU-RAY disc and welcome the challenge of encrypted titles. I too use RIPIT4ME still and as needed.

My two recommendations are AnyDVD or DvdFab the paid version. If you buy AnyDVD you will need something to compress and burn with. CloneDvd2 works fine with it. I believe Dvd Shrink will do the job. DvdFab comes as an all in one. All have free trials, so it depends which you like better. Good luck and happy burning.

If I can learn here so can you.

AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 compliment one another well. AnyDVD & Nero also.

Yup, compress with Shrink (free) and burn with Imgburn (free as well) here is the link to set Dvd Shrink to burn with Imgburn http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/664041
