I am having problem backing up movies with my laptop using vista.
I rip and burns it but when i play it on a dvd player its going to the last part
or not reading?

I have no problem backing up with my pc.

i need some advice.

Does the burned disk play ok on the laptop.

I am using Dvdfab to rip and shrink to write.

vista makes dvd's burned with it only playable on vista computers (they use some shitty vista-native format, and not a standard one). Anyway, just download linux and burn with that.

You might be able to bypass it within vista, but just get ubuntu and be done with it.
