I just have a quick question that i've been trying to figure out for a while now.
I'm still kind of new at this so any help is appreciated.



Ok, I have one disc with two movies in it.

And I would like to burn movie 1 on 1 disc. and movie 2 on another disc so that i can have a copy for each instead of 2 on one disc.

I use DVD Shrink 3.2.

If the disk has been ripped to the HDD, open the files with DVD Shrink and click 'Re-author'.
If the movies are two separate 'Titles' (they may be listed as Title 1 and Title 2) drag Title 1 from the right side of the screen to the left pane and click 'Backup'.
After the backup, remove Title 1 from the left side (highlight and 'cut')and drag Title 2 to the left and 'Backup'.
In the image below it shows a number of Titles from an episodic dvd.
You can tell from the running times that 'Title 1' in this case at 1 minute 5 seconds isn't a movie.

You Can also use Dfab 6 (Paid or Trial Version) Split Disc Or Customize Options

Thanks for the replies! I appreciate it!

How would i put a menu on it though?
That seems right..but that would only rip JUST the movie right? with no menu? so that would mean that it would play just as soon as the dvd player read it right?
How would i put the menu?

I've never used or even heard of Dfab. Is it a good program? Is it better than dvd shrink for what I am trying to do?

You can do this with DvdRemake 3.6.3. (doesn't have to be Pro version, but Pro gives you more options) http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php

1. Rip/Decrypt movie with DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink 3.2 or DVDFab (Note: create a destination file to desktop if using Shrink and do not let it burn afterwards)
2. Open the file with DvdRemake and edit movie 1 (hide all associated cell blocks from Movie 2)>export to destination file, then open again and edit out movie 2 (hide cells for movie 1)>export.
3. Shrink movie with DVDShrink 3.2 if one of the file is larger than 4.35GB - in this case I don't think the files are larger than specified since both original movies fit in a single disc (max 8.5GB)
4. Burn with IMGBurn.

DVDFab 6 Will do what you want. Yes it is a very very good Program.
I suggest you Download the trial Version And See if you like it. (Use the Customize or Split Option) it will keep the original Menu but some Buttons on the Menu will not work Depending on what you Choose to keep.

Is this the Same thing you are talking about Here. Or is this 2 Movie disc a Commercial disc and does it already Have a Menu on it?

DVD Fab seems like it will work for what I'm trying to do, which is rip one movie out of the disc and still keep the menu right?

And it's a whole different question..on that thread I am talking about trying to burn 2 already converted movies onto 1 disc.. but the 2 movies are converted seperately, i.e. they both have their own video_ts and audio_ts
