How can I shrink/convert an ISO file of dvd 9 to ISO file of dvd 5 to burn it out to normal dvd?
Thanks!

Download and install Dvd Shrink.
Open the program and click open files.
Select the file you want and hit the Backup! button at the top. From there it will prompt you to either burn image to a disc, or save as a (smaller) iso to your harddrive.

Since your DVD compilation is in ISO format, you can open DVD Shrink and drag the ISO to it,or go to File->Open Disc Image, browse to your ISO and open it.

If You already have DVD Shrink then just read and re-read the Guide (3Pages)....after do that you can use Re_autor > Compression Settings > Custom Ratio By holding and draginh the bar from right to left to compress the ISO files that is bigger than 4,464MB to around 4,300MB 'cos you do not want to burn to the edge of the DVD 5....other wise you will end up have pixalations or little stop's bump's through the movie

I would like to add:
It can be a good idea if you run the Movie through DVD Shrink using Deep Analysis for better results.
Even more if you use the latest DVD Fab first before DVD Shrink.....
and in the near future: Learn how to use DVD Rebuilder (a better program that DVD Shrink) for compressing movies at more than 20% for a mayor Hight Quality DVD's Back-Up's.
Hope this help and Good luck !

The edge of a DVD5 is at 4481 so Shrink's 4464 already has a sufficient safety margin.

Apples and oranges, Shrink is a transcoder.

Not with every disc/burner brand, and I find it pointless to even try to push it to the limit. 50MB extra means close to nothing when it comes to video quality, but depending on the crappy discs or burner that one might use, could mean the difference between a good burn or a bad one.
Theoretical numbers and practical ones don't always match. You get yourself a batch of discs with "bad dye spread, uneven or it does not reach perfectly to the edge of the disc", and you made a coaster just because you tried to squeeze a few extra MBs(MBs which wouldn't make a noticeable difference anyway).

I been burning the same Movie at 4,464MB: Coaster.......at 4,400MB: Coaster.....at 4,300MB:is Good.......
Now if I have a Bad Disc Brand, or maybe burning at high speed or my Burner is getting old even at 4,300MB come out as a Coaster.
At this point Quality of the Blank Disc, Quality of the Burner, Burning speed or maybe even a un-corrupt Firmware play a very important role here.
NOTE: Not all the time this happen....just few times.....So all I do is just to stop guessing and adapt some rules to my task.
Most of us know that Shrink is a Transcoder and DVD Rebuilder is an Encoder.
