True..Movie would be ok if the series never came out. They really f*cked it up in comparison though.

Same problem here with DVDFAB. It reads the movie but when I press START the tray slides out and I'm advised to put in writable media, like it's already downloaded the movie and wants media to copy onto.

Strange....Fab just shows it as blank, nothing to draw from. Unusual...most times with an error you at least have something appear in the contents.

I used DVDFAB 8.0.2.2 under Movie Copy. Next DVD SHRINK which encoded. The last step was DVD DECRYPT and it copied the movie onto a blank disk fine.

I may have to watch it tonight. This will be the first time in over three years for me that DVDFAB has failed.

It's your pc telling you not to make a physical copy of piece of shit movie. That should become a standard for all crap movies. Especially any foreign movie remakes made in america.

I was able to copy Avatar just using DvdShrink. Don't open the disc, just do a re-author and grab title 11.

Very nice Beerye ... I knew it was title 11 but I was getting the same results using DVDFab as everyone else. Who would of thought to use Shrink to get the movie ... who said you can't use an old dog to bite the mailman ... Thanks for the tip ... worked great. Timm

I'm not getting anything from decypter, dvdfab or shrink. The files are blank-- duration 00.00 for each and file size reads as 0.01. dvdFab rips in 10 seconds and files are uesless. shrink gives an error message "invalid DVD navigational structure."
This has never happened before. Unfortunately, I don't have the technical skill as most people I see posting here. However, I have always been able to backup movies.
Does anyone have thoughts about how to help? Thanks in advance!

It doesn't help if this is your only post here regarding what has been done. What programs besides shrink are you using or have tried? What steps have you taken to try to copy the movie? The movie Avatar is not the same as the movie "The Last Airbender", if the previous poster was referring to the cartoon series, it would make better sense. :P Answer the questions and you might find better answers or responses.

Duh! It?s Nickelodeon?s Avatar: The Last Airbender! The post WAS correct.
Shrink processed it, but the 1st playback resulted in the ?Invalid Nav Structure? error too. Switched to ?PowerDVD? and it played fine. Fab will update within a few more days.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is a cartoon, not a movie. The name "Avatar" cannot be used in the name due to copyright infringement on behalf of James Camerons movie "Avatar" which is why I pointed out the difference. The name of the movie based on the cartoon does not use the word Avatar.
In regards to the Invalid Nav Structure, have you gone through the shrink settings to recreate a new logical restructure of the files?
