i used a program called nrg2iso you can see that on google
i want to open it so i can look in to the files and see what is in it before i burn it on a cd haha
So you downloaded it without knowing what exactly you're getting:)?
Is it supposed to be a movie, a game, software?
In WInrar, check the option to keep broken files then try to unpack again ignoring the error:

sec i am trying to find that option's menu
sorry i cannot find that option but i did managed to open the NRG file and its good i see all the files of a normal game (PS2)
I just checked with an ISO, and that option is grayed out , only available for .*rar files.
What do you mean by:
"i wonder how the ISO file looks like.. "
??
Inside the ISO and the NRG is the same stuff, just in a different "wrapper". Is like having a pound of potatoes in a plastic bag or in a paper bag, is still the same potato.
