Question about subtitles and DVD Flick

Hello,
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I am after all trying to make a DVD with DVD Shrink.
I have a file with the following extension: mkv.
The file has subtitles. When I play the file with VLC, I can turn the subtitles on and off. In other words: the subtitles are not just burnt on the video track.
I am trying to convert this file into a DVD burnable file so DVD Shrink can open it. The software that I usually use for these situations is DVD Flick.
I have managed to open the file with DVD Flick without any trouble.
However, DVD Flick ignores the subtitles. I have used the "edit title" option on DVD Flick, but somehow the subtitles are not there. Which doesn't make sense, because they are there!
My question is: how can I turn this file into a DVD burnable file without losing the subtitles? Is there a program out there that can do it?
Also, how I can make this happen with DVD Flick?
Thanks so much!
Jorge

it's very simple.. flick will find the subs and add them (up to 4 sets of subs and 4 audio tracks with flick)
http://www.dvdflick.net/guide/index_en.html
Only thing I'm not sure about with flick is if it can handle mkv containers properly.. I haven't used it in a long time.

Thanks for the quick reply and for the information. I actually tried that, but like I said, Flick can't find the subtitles.
I went to "edit title" and then "subtitles", and then "add". But they are nowhere to be found. Is it possible that the subtitles are not supported?
BTW, what version of flick is that on the pictures? I think mine is 1.2.2.1.
Is there a better version out there?
Thanks again!

I think to go any further we need to know exactly what format files we have inside that container.

Thanks for the info, guys!
I downloaded MKVExtract and followed the directions.
I extracted the subtitles but when I tried to add them in DVD Flick, it said that the file was corrupt.
The extracted file has a "srt" extension.
By the way, how can I find out what format files I have inside the container?
In case it helps, do you have a link to download the new version of DVD Flick?
Thanks so much!

Duh! Of course the link was there. Thanks!
Anyway, I installed the new version of DVD flick and it accepted the subtitles uneventfully. I think this will work!
Thanks a lot everyone!
