Ripping part of a DVD

I've got two half hour programs on a DVD but I need to rip only the first one. Can it be done? Or is there software that will let me trim the second part after ripping?

Using DVD shrink, you can open the files (or the disk) click 'Re-author' then drag the required title from right to left.
Click 'Backup' to save the output to folder or burn to disk.

Thanks for the response but I'm not sure that will do it for me. The two programs were recorded over the air in one recording session on a videotape, which was transferred to a DVD. On the disk they show up together as one file so I need to trim or re-record and stop the recording before the second show begins.

Re-author, drag Title 1 to left pane.
Right click on Title 1 and select the start and end frames.
Then 'backup'.

Edited to update: from download to completion of my task was less than 10 minutes. Unbelievable. Thanks so much.
