If I have dvd files i am going to burn in pal format, where in shrink do i make the change to ntsf so it will burn and play and a stand alone dvd player? The settings in dvd shrink ask to check the box so that the new disc will play in all regions but when i use this setting, after burning, o get 'disc error' on my tv screen when i go to play the disc. help please.

Not In Shrink. I Know You Have DVD Flick, Use that To Convert To PAL

Project Settings > Video

This Is Also Where You Can Change Your Target Size (Custom 4300)

I Think DVDFab 8 Can Convert To Pal Also

Imgburn May Br Able To Do It Too

But Not Shrink.

Thank you, both. The files I have are in PAL and I checked "region 1" on dvd shrink's Nero settings thinking that would automatically make the burnt disc NTSF, but apparently not. Thank goodness while I work all this out I can rest easy that blank discs are cheap so this learning experience isn't expensive.

Why Pay $40 Bucks for Something You Can Do For FREE?

Dvd Shrink = Free
DVDFab = Free
DVD Flick = Free
Imgburn = Free

I have them all - some I'm more familiar with than others. Still trying to become accomplished with all of them.
