Hi, I'm trying to shrink a 5GB image down to 4.7GB, but for some reason part way through the output video the bitrate drops from ~3000k to ~1200k. The final output is about 93% the size of a disc instead of about 99% as usual.

It's a single title DVD, no menu, three audio tracks, authored with IfoEdit after cutting in VideoReDo. This is in full disc mode with deep analysis and adaptive error compensation on.

The video hasn't been cut where this is happening and I really can't see what's wrong with it. I've even turned on verbose messages in VLC and played it past the point in the original and nothing is coming up.

I have tried again with adaptive error compensation off, and that seems to stop it happening...

Is there anything I should try? I suppose I could upload a sample somewhere if it would help.
