hey guys

ive been using dvdfab hd decrypter forever now. and just suddenly it gives me a pop up that says "the dvd to mobile option is expired".

now i know that part of it is expired, but when i put a disc in it goes to read it like normal then i get another pop up that says "to open this dvd disc you need to buy or renew dvdfab "dvd to dvd", or u can wait for the new version of dvdfab hd decrypter".

Now i could swear that the hd decrypter part of this never expires, because ive been using it forever. is this happeneing to anyone else?

ok apparently i jumped the gun a little too soon, and i think it might be the dvd thats causing it.

the dvd is "The Ugly Truth" thats giving me the pop up to buy/renew. i tried it with a different disc and it worked fine. wow this is some weird stuff

Nope I don't think is the movie that is causing it, just take a look at this, http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/583712/4901679

Had that happen to me. It's not the disc. I removed it completely from my system and re-installed it. Worked like a charm. But you must remove all traces of it from your system first. A good stand alone Uninstaller will do the trick.

I used dvdfab 6118, It seems to have worked. Then I sent it through fixvts and shrink. not the greatest compression ratio about 50%. I haven't watched it yet though so i can't say for certain how it plays. But i fast forward through the movie chapters on my dvd player and it seemed fine.

No problems at all with AnyDVD 6.6.0.3 and CloneDVD2.

If I can learn here so can you.
