TRY: RipIt4me Method !!!

1-Click Mode > Main Movie > Next

Note:
1.-Clear < > signs from the movie name at Target directory for DVD files window, since most programs do not red signs like < > or [ ] or change your Target, Name, etc.

2.-After Rip; 2 windows will open...first answer is NO and second answer is YES .

3.-On Shrink compress from 6,115MB to around 4,300MB using Re-Autor to back up on DVD 5.

Good Luck and Happy Burn !!!

:) LOL! Good to hear from you b2r! You know my e-mail address, you could always drop me a line from time to time!

Mumzee,
RipIt4Me Installation Link

You will of course have to have FixVTS, DVD Decrypter, and DVD Shrink for it to work, but you should already be familiar with that. RI4Me has not been updated in a long time, but since you are doing movie only, the backup files of RI4M should have it if for some reason it does fail. Of course then you would need to use the program VobBlanker to ensure that the DVD Structure is correct before you burn. I rarely use RI4Me but in a few cases I have had to use it.

Let me ask you a question about your drive D. Is D and external drive that you have hooked up to your computer? If this is the case then you may need to reinstall it to see if that will work. The other possibility is that the firmware will need to be updated on the drive. I can walk you through the firmware update if the first suggestion does not work. Let me know!

No I have not installed any drives....I have a Dell windows vista and it's only a year old..........I think I will stick with my hdfab, dvdshrink and imgburn because it only fails when something new comes out and then I just install the update.........but thank you for all the info and help........the only thing with hdfab is I purchased it about 4 months ago and my registration key still won't work so my money went down the drain......thanks again :) I started a new thread saying I couldn't get to this thread but I restarted my pc and the problem is solved.........

Mumzee,
The question I asked was, "Is D and external drive that you have hooked up to your computer?" because that would help me narrow down the reason for the problem.

Another question that I have is do you have DVD43 installed on your machine? These two programs will conflict with each other, so I would suggest that you remove DVD43 if you have it installed.

Another thing to try is cleaning your registry. There is a free program that works fantastic called CCleaner. Before you run it make a backup of your registry with ERUNT first. This way you do not need to do it with CCleaner when it asks you if you would like to. You may download CCleaner from here: Link

I'm still working on getting AnyDVD to work for you properly, but if you have decided to stay with DVDFab then let me know and I will stop the, Fix what's wrong with AnyDVD routine!!

All I know is whatever drive that came with my pc is what I've got and I have not installed any.........I uninstalled the anydvd for now because it kept going to E: drive........I checked under the drives in my pc and I have OS (C:), RECOVER (D:), DVDRW Drive (E:), and then Removable Disks (F:) (G:), (H:) and (I:).......this sounds like a dumb question but even though they're on my pc am I suppose to install any of them to make them work like my (E:)? Check back later

Your D drive is a recovery partition on your hard drive. The only DVDRW Drive is E. Why would AnyDVD try to read from the D drive? I'm a little confused about your original question now!

mumzee,
Maybe when you went into AnyDVD to the area where you select which drives to use, you turned off drive E. Try to turn it back on then shut down AnyDVD and then start it again. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

I'll post the same pic I posted earlier in this thread for you to understand.
