Like many people I've had DVD Shrink/DVD Dycryper on my computer for years, for when i want to make an extra copy of a movie.

Tonight I wanted to play a library copy of Wall E and just after I put the disc in (before I tried to play it) Spy Sweeper informed me that a DLL had just been installed. I wish I had copied down the name or number at the time, but I didn't. I did run a sweep and "quaranteened" whatever it was.

I then wanted to copy a movie file already on my computer and can't any more. Instead I get a message that there are over 2,00,000 sectors in the file and only 300,000-some sectors on the disc.

It's got to be Wall E that did it, because I've never seen this before and you may be sure I won't buy Disney products in the future if they ae going to mess up my computer.

Yes, the first thing I did was to uninstall/re-install DVD Decrypter, then the latest ImgBurn. Same result.

Would some other burning software (freeware) work? It would need to be compatible with DVD Shrink, so i can keep that capability.

Does anybody recognize what's happened to me? How do i get this menace off the computer?

The Spy Sweeper Quarantined list shows only two "dangerous" files [May show ads on your system] and the rest are tracking cookies. I'm offered the option of removing those permanently.

What else can i try? I'm one of those whe are afraid to change anything, so I'd need a reference to a very careful explanation of what to to and a DLL to look for.

And thanks for helping taking the time to help.
This is scary.
