Just installed Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Upgraded from XP pro 32 bit. I had wondered how many programs I was going to lose going to Windows 7 and it's not always easy to find out beforehand by trying to find comments from people on what will and won't work.

I can verify that 3 programs I was wondering about still work fine.

RipIt4Me, DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink. Of these, only RipIt4Me has to run in "XP SP3 Compatibility" mode.

I'm pretty stoked about this cause I really didn't want to lose those 3 programs as I still use them.

Didn't see the 3 programs I listed in that thread. Everytime I had searched for answers regarding those 3 programs, I never could find a definitive answer and didn't end up knowing until I bought Win 7 Pro 64 bit and tried it for myself. Now I know and I just wanted to post it specific to those 3 programs. I didn't intend to start a thread about all the programs that would work, only those 3.

Eh ? ~

ImgBurn 2.4.4.0 (plus Imgburn's predecessor ie the one that used to be popular for ripping movies)
i was being cryptic at the time, i'd posted that reply on a site where dvd derypting is frowned upon so that's how i'd listed DVD Decrypter at that time. I had simply copy/pasted that reply to my Afterdawn reply.

I've never used ripit4me hence why it wasn't listed.
