I am using the latest version 6.1.2.0

But it wound't open the disc

Could it be the disc is self

It could just be your optical drive, see one of my latest posts in the Transformers 2 thread, basically not all optical drives are equal, some don't read discs when other drives have no problems.

From the sheer lack of other peoples' replies it's not the software.
I don't personally buy into the whole 'bad press' notion re discs, as i say, in my experience it's a case of using different drives until you find one that rips the disc. (i'm not talking about scratched/marked discs either, i'm on about brand new discs straight out of the packaging; though some optical drives are better at dealing with damaged discs than others). But if you don't have any other optical drives all you can do is take the disc back to be exchanged and hope that works.
