I used an EasyCap (fake) and Virtualdub to capture a huffyuv compressed avi. The file is 8GB for only 16 minutes which is too much for me, but that is not the issue.
I used Super to convert the avi to vob and then went into linux and used mkisofs with the -dvd-video option and burned the resulting iso to dvd at 6x. The resulting dvd plays fine in VLC but won't play in Windows Media Player, or my dvd player. The Vob files also play fine in VLC. VLC will play just about anything, I guess. (oh, the audio plays fine in both WMP and dvd player)
I then tried to use AVI2DVD but that program gave a "Job NOT done" warning. So then I tried DVD Flick. I made sure it was NTSC, clicked on the setting to create an iso file. Same results, can't play in WMP and won't play on dvd player.
What in the world am I doing wrong?
Edit: I got it to work with Windows DVD Maker thanks to softcream's messages. Didn't think about using it before. But I would like the flexibility these other programs give you. anybody know why Windows DVD Maker worked, but DVD Flick and Super don't work?
Thanks for your time.
