DVD Produced w/ DVDLab Pro Doesn't Seek/Scan Well

I'm not really sure what this symptom is called, so I'll try to explain it. I created a DVD using DVDLab Pro, and the menus and such all work fine. The videos play fine, but if I try to seek/scan ahead, then the audio begins playing at that point, while the video either freezes or jerkily tries to catch up (and never quite does). When I try to select a chapter in the middle of the movie (from the chapter selection menu), the audio starts playing at this point, and the menu remains on the screen.

I have tried playing the DVD in multiple media players, on multiple computers, both as a set of Video_TS files and as an iso, and the problems are always there. I suspect that perhaps the video is being encoded incorrectly, but I don't know how to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
