Hi there. I've recently used MSWMM to capture some home video. I edit it in MSWMM and then publish it as DV-AVI. When I watch the video back on my computer (vista home premium, SP2), it looks ok, but halfway through the video I notice that it abruptly gets very slightly clearer. I then use DVDFlick to convert it a DVD and burn it to disc. When I watch it back on my pc, right at the same place where I noticed it got slightly clearer, there appears a definite interlaced 'combing' effect with movement. It's so strange. The first half is fine, and then it sort of flicks over to showing the interlaced fields. I have to say that I've never been that happy with how MSWMM captures my video (it never seems very crisp, although it is passable). Do you think the problem originates from the original capture? And should I try different software to do the capturing and then use MSWMM to edit the captured file? (Can you recommend a good, free programme to capture video at a high quality?).
Your comments/advice on this annoyance is very much looked forward to...lol.
