How to burn a mp4 file to DVD format

Can anyone tell me how this can be done. I've tried the below listed software but it gives me an error at the beginning. "Failed to convert the file "xxxxxx" Would you want to continue to convert ? I'll choose Yes and then get "Failed to create DVD Title".

Would there be any other programs that can convert a mp4 file directly into DVD format thats playable in a DVD player ?

Try DVD Flick or FAVC.
Set the video output (NTSC for North America or PAL for EU and Australasia).
Both can output DVD compliant files to a folder or image file.
Either can also burn the disk if required.

When you convert it into DVD flat if the video can play again and the picture ca be show?

ConvertXToDVD will leave a watermark on its files unless you purchase it.

I recommend ConvertXtoDVD, it's one of the only softwares I use to convert to DVD, but DVD Flick is good too.

After converting, you can use ImgBurn to burn to DVD, it's free and a lot better than Nero IMO.
