I don't what i am doing wrong, but here's what i am trying to do.

When i heard that convertxtodvd 4.1.19 can handle avs scripts,
i was overjoyed, one less conversion to speed up the process.
well, i load one in and.......
black screen with a green line about center of screen.

i have double-check that avisynth works with media player classic,
MeGUI, and format factory

so back to the topic, did i miss a step?

Support for AviSynth seems problematical at best since version 2.1
You might try their support forum:

The VideoHelp site has some posts regarding it which generally suggest using the script with AVStoDVD or Hc Encoder instead.

Are you referring to select separate sources and using the
videoDub(Video,audio) function?

Here's an example.

http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/2547...ring-conversion

Note, I don't have Convertx, so I can't offer anything specific - I have used HCenc - but only for PAL DVD to NTSC DVD conversion;it's not a one step deal inasmuch as it only outputs m2v files (no audio processing) so it might not suit - but you can get advice re AviSynth at the VideoHelp site.
