problem unlocking Nokia E71 mobile - "not allowed"

I just wanted to know , after you type the #PW+CODE+1# ,and then enter , I get the message
"not allowed" , does this mean someone besides me tried to unlock this mobile more than 5 times ? I red somewhere if someone gets it wrong 5 times than it is now hard Locked , and can only be unlocked with a cable to pc , or a clip . Is this true ?

Also I want to know ,is the unlock code suppose to be a 15 digit number ,like
#PW+123456789,10,11,12,13,14,15+1#
or a Code = 0578048 = 7 digit number, the reason Im asking is because inside my phone it has got , Code = 0578048 .
