Samsung U600 blank screen

Hi.

I've got a Samsung U600 with a blank screen. Called Samsung up and they said I need to send it back to them, but that I would lose anything stored on the phone memory.

I have a lot of contacts I wish to save.

I tried connecting through USB, but it won't connect. I'm guessing because I don't have USB/PC studio as the default option on the phone.

With the screen being blank of course, I can't get into the menus to choose USB connection.

Is there any other way to access the phones internal memory?
