I just sorted out my psp that was on 3.11 official. I did this by going up to 5.03 then using the tif exploit. Now my friend has asked me to do theres that is on 1.5 still. I found this easier then the method of installing all the custom firmware one after the other. Im trying to install the official 5.03 on the psp but i cant see any text when i click on the eboot. Anyone else had this trouble

you could try to update to something around the 3.52 area first... because in that area, there was an overhaul of the Update Eboots... and they changed... so in turn, i do believe that the reason you cant see the text... is becuase of this update eboots differences with the installed firmware... its a guess at best... but its my best guess...
