Q-1: I have a slim psp (PSP 2004) with CFW 3.90 M33-3. Can i upgrade this to 5.00 M33-6?
Q-2: Is the upgrade need a wifi connection..

If you download the updates manually, then no, you don't need wifi.

First, download the 5.00 M33 firmware, then all the updates (5.0 M33-2 etc. up to 5.00 M33-6), put them onto your psp, and run them in the corresponding order.

As i understood i think i can upgrade direct from version greater than 3.52 M33-3 to 5.00 M33-6 without going to version in between them.. isn't it?

No, you don't, you can install 5.00 M33 straight away.
