My PSP was on 5.50 GEN-C and I ran the GEN-D updater. I ran the Flash GEN-D option and reset it. Then I ran it again and chose the XGEN Pandora option. Then my PSP screen went black and the whole thing eventually turned off. I tried turning it on but the power LED would light up for a sec and turn off. So i tried holding the L button. I got to the XGEN screen and chose the 5.50 OFW option to maybe rectify the situation. After it finished, i tried to update it to GEN B. It shut off, i turned it back on and

i thought so gen-c was problematic so i understand, going from b2 skipping c straight to d, then to d2 is a better way of doing it, have you done the hellcats recovery yet

when you get the green light to come on and the screen stays black are you having the charger plugged in. I had one unbricker program that would do the same thing but needed the power supply unplugged to start

So now I'm stuck on 5.50 OFW and I don't know how to get back to CFW. I searched for it already and that's why I'm asking.
