Hi, I bought my son a PSP Slim 3000 series, and also bought a disk full of games to dowload to memory stick in the ISO folder, the games are in Image file and CSO formats. These games were working fine for a few days, but now they are no longer available in the PSP memory stick menu the message reads 'there are no games'. Not sure if PSP software was updated or if this happened after loading video movies? I have 2 x 8gb memory sticks both get same message
"there are no games" but can still read music and video files. I can see the games still in the file when I search the PSP memory stick via the computer. I have tried reformatting the memory sticks and reloading but that has not helped. I have downloaded a free game from PSP store and that works but other games still not there??
Can anyone please advise how I fix this?
Let me guess: You switched the PSP off completely?
You can connect to the PSN store, that means you are not on custom firmware anymore. The PSP 3000 can't be hacked completely, the hack is only temporarily, as soon as you switch the PSP off completely the hack is removed. If you are still on firmware 5.03 and nobody updated the PSP you can reenable it with ChickHen, if somebody updated the PSP to a higher firmware you can throw the disk with the games into the dumpster, the PSP can't play backups anymore.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
bugger! yes the battery ran completly down. thanks for the info, I've been sitting at the computer since Christmas day trying to sort it out. yes his PSP has been updated to 6.2. I am new to the PSP world, and the guy who sold me the PSP and Games did not mention custom firmware or any rules. Thanks again for the info, at least I can stop trying to fix it. Lucky for post christmas sales! I will see what games I can get cheap at the gaming shop.
