I had bought a psp 1000 from someone on ebay. It came with a 4gb memory card, which I paid extra for another 4gd upgrade, making it a 8gd memory card. Well about 4gb of that card was taking up by 22 games/movies that the guy had put onto it. Once I received the system, I found that it would shut off randomly. I sent it back, but kept the memory card which I had paid extra for. The memory card having all the games and movies on it.
Well today I went to Wal-mart, and bought a brand new psp 3000. I put the memory card in, and the movies worked fine, and any music I had put on it worked fine as well. But when I clicked on one of the games, a message saying "To use this content, you must activate the system" came up. Underneath that there is also a bunch of numbers. The guy had said they might not work, as they were for the other psp system. Is there any way to get them to work on this system? Also, it is upgraded to version 6.00
I take it you are trying to play ISOs of games via the memory card.
Unfortunately with a PSP 3000 model you must have firmware 5.03 in order to run ISOs. Since you have upgraded it to 6.00 you can no longer use the chickHen exploit. You cannot play ISOs on this PSP anymore only orgnal UMB games.
Apart from that you just have to wait and hope that someone hacks the 6.00 firmware.
ISO games? I'm not sure. Whatever type of games it was that he had. And I never upgraded it, it came that way. And so that means I can't play any downloaded games I may put on there?
