The PSP® system software version 6.10 update includes the following:


Music
(SensMe? channels) has been added as a new feature.



The SensMe? channels application uses Sony's proprietary 12 Tone Analysis technology to evaluate music tracks that have been imported from the Media Go application to the PSP® system. The application automatically categorizes the tracks into 12 channels such as ?Relax? and ?Dance?. You can select a music channel to match the time of day or to match your mood.

To use the SensMe? channels application on your PSP® system, you must first download the application to your system. > See details

You can now import playlists that are created using the Media Go application.



You can import Media Go music playlists directly to your PSP® system so that you can enjoy the music wherever you go.
Media Go version 1.2 or later is required to use this feature. (Media Go 1.2 released on Oct. 1, 2009.)

In [Display Panel Close Options] under (System Settings), the design for the [Standard] theme has been changed.

[Update] has been added to the options menu for games.
By selecting this option, you can connect your system to the Internet and check whether update data is available for the game in use. If update data is available, you can use this option to download and install the update data.
PlayStation®Network
[Memory Stick?] has been added as a save destination for content that is downloaded from PlayStation®Store.
A new category for ?minigames? called [minis] was added under (PlayStation®Store). You can go to this category under (PlayStation®Store) to download (purchase) minigames that can be played simply and easily on your system.
Other
The Dial-up Networking (DUN) profile has been added as one of the supported Bluetooth® profiles. > See details

hi, I need PSP cfw 6.00 for my son's psp so he can play rugby league challenge game. Now his psp system is 5.00 M33-6, it wont play rugby league challenge. Therefore I need to upgrade it.
Is anyone having the file for it? thanks in advance

u can update 2 ofw 6.00 and go by the game instead of bein a jank ass noob asking 4 fw thats not even out yet

Hey guys,

Kind of urgent, noob me needs help

Got my PSP 3.40OE-A and i need to upgrade it to an offical PSP firmware like 6.00 or 6.10.

Now when i go to do this it says This game can not be bla bla Dadadada, You all know what it says.

How do i get past this and upgrade it to original legit firmware?

Its not for me personally its for the person who i sold the psp to.

Ah ok. Well i spoke to the guy who is buying it and he said he doesnt really mind. But i think id still like to learn it for future preference. Do you know of any GOOD tutorials?

just made this account plz no insultsim a noob to this i just downloaded the 2.0 downgrader thing or whatever and it saved my file now what do i do im back on the pc and have psp hooked up.

Read the instructions that came along with the file you downloaded?
I am assuming this downgrader 'thing' you refer to is the MPH downgrader?
Alternatively, there is a guide which can be found **HERE**-(Scroll down to the section for downgrading -2.01 PSP/2.00 PSP.........)


BTW, I find this thread to be a waste of forum space, and is NOT getting my vote to be stickied.

For those of you asking about the custom firmwares that are absent from this thread-you can find them **HERE**-All of the Official firmware updates can be found there as well.
