Okay, I've been out of the PSP scene for a long time, and I recently got an old PSP Phat, that I was gonna do a mod on, so I was first gonna put CFW on it. Now what is the latest CFW for the PSP? Cause I'm familiar with M33, but now I'm seeing GEN-A and GEN-B? I do have a pandora battery to install CFW, cause this PSP has 5.51 installed. I don't have the magic memory stick though, so I need to make that. My buddy let me use is hacked psp that I did for him so long ago, so I'll be able to make the MMS that way!

But ya, I was just gonna use the UMPSv4 to install 3.90 M33 on the PSP, then go from there. Would like some input on this!

5.00m33-6 = latest M33 firmware - highly stable plays most games (NO PSN access)
5.50 GenB = Plays some later games (Madden 10) also reputed to allow PSN access, has issues with some plug ins (cheats) and I believe playing video (not tested myself)
