Hi All,
I have been looking evey where without finding any answers so i was hoping someone here might be able to help me.
I have a psp-2003 (serial number HB0319655) and am trying to hack it.
i have made a magic memory stick and have "bought" a panodoras battery.
when i put in he pandoras battery nothing happens and when i plug in a power supply to it it doesnt seem to charge and is not seen by my psp (under battey info on psp). i have tryed pressing it into get it to connect better, tryed cleaning the motherboard battery pins & used serval methods to try to get it to charge with no results.
So i thought the battery must be a dud but i took my pandoras battery to my friends psp-2003 (newer then mine) and tryed to charge it with his psp and we got an orange flashing light, so that shows it works? so why isent it seen by my (older) psp?
I would be grateful if someone could get back with an idear asap as i am stuck!
when u got ur psp from the box wat firmware was it on?
Pandora works only on psp's which are below or 3.90. Wat i mean to say is that when u take it out of the PSP box (brand new). this doesn't apply to phat psp
note:
if it comes with a 4.0 or above official firmware then it already been patched. Pandora will not be able to run.
before u could insert a Pandora u've got to hold the up arrow(or wat ever button have u assigned)and then holding the button u gently insert the Pandora in the PSP it will automatically start up.
Sorry i am unsure if it came with firmware 4.0 or over as i have had it for a long time, but im guessing not as my friends psp is atleast 8months newer and it works with his. I hold the L button when i insert the battery but it doesnt work (i believe L buton is defult as i used a program to make my MMS) but nothing happens. but should my psp have some sort of light when i put it in evern if im not holding a button? No orange/red light comes on when i plug it in (just a green one) and it wont turn on without the plug. so its like the battery is not connecting properly but i have cleaned everything and have pressed in the battery asmuch as possible =/ any more ideas?
That your friends PSP is newer than yours doesn't neccessarily mean that it was produced later. Depending on where you and he bought the consoles his could have dusted somewhere in a store room and yours could have come right out of the factory. When you put out the battery there should be a sticker under it (on the PSP, not the battery), does it have a field called DATE CODE? If yes, what does it say?
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.
