just bought a psp 3001 and i was on the home browser and the screen went blank......after a while it came back on....a next time i was loading umd game...the umd game was started...then the screen went blank with the game music and everything.and after the screen came back on ..i dont know what is going...is this normal...do people have these problems witht the psp 3001..if so how can it be fixed..how c.any help would gladly be appreciated

most likely the fuse on the video line is going bad. it is on the back of the board, so to even check it you will have to take the psp completely apart. if it is bad all you would have to do is bridge it.
