---Short version of explanation in second paragraph.---

Alright, so, I flashed my PSP with the latest CFW with the Pandora, and everything worked great at first. Then I encountered a problem, as the title says, my buttons do not work. What's going on with this is if I go into a game, my buttons work for a little bit, but not for long. For example, Final Fantasy Tactics. I click on New Game and it works for a little bit, but then when I get to naming my character, my buttons stop working. The only buttons that work are the Arrow keys to move my cursor around, and my Home button. The only problem with the home button is I cannot move it to "Yes" to get out of the game - it actually moves the cursor in-game even though I'm at the Home screen. I can't select anything, whether it be a yes or no option with X - can't get out of it, etc. Same thing happens with the VHS menu. I go to the menu and all buttons cease to work.

Basically, all buttons except for directional and Home work. Home screen moves cursor in game, even at that screen (Cannot select "Yes).

I've been reading around and can't find a solution to this. Anyone got some ideas?

PSP 2001
Firmware: 5.50 GEN-D3

You know, I just noticed I messed up on my main post. I am very sorry. All buttons except directional and Home DON'T work. After entering the game and VHS Menu, directional and Home work, I just cannot select "Yes" in the Home screen, or even click on "No". It just moves the cursor in-game. It's every single other button that do not work, like X, or O. Very sorry about that.

you may want to take the faceplate off and make sure the rubber piece for those buttons is in its correct position. also check the tension on the screws when you put it back together. alot of times if you get them to tight that will cause the problem.
