hi, i have my first generation psp1001, i used PSPgamen's guide update from v4.02 to v5.03, and installed CFWEnabler 3.60 also ChickHEN R2 for classic psp, it seems like won't work at all, i had the egg pictures and it had been freeze few times and turn off itself, but did not restart itself. i just realize on the back of umd slot, i don't see any numbers at all, so that means i have TA088v3?
i also tried PSPIdent install, but psp won't load up for me to see what motherboard i have.
on the PSPgamen's guide, did not mention anything about psp1000 with TA088v3, anyone knows how to have my problems solved or direct me, thanks in advance.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

You probably have a TA-079, or TA-081 if its a PSP-1000..So PSPident wouldn't work anyway....And you should probably stop with the enablers, and chickHEN's if you don't know what you are doing unless you want an expensive paperweight on your hands. chickHEN is a buggy program that might take a number of tries before it works properly anyway.
@dEEz_nUtz, thanks for reply, i was away for 2 days. my psp recently using the guide and upgrade to version 5.03. i though i can save few bucks by using softmod, as this point, i will go for your recommendation, pandora. what's up to date methods on pandora? or please direct me, thank you very much.

You can get ready made pandora setups from alot of online retailers for real cheap-(ex: dealextreme.com) At least get a battery, the memory stick (512MB is plenty) can be made using your computer (WinXP works best for this) You will want DCv3 program or higher for the MMS.
thanks again, i ordered pandora battery, i shall have it in few days, now my psp is version 6.10, i have 4gb memory stick in it. since my psp is version 6.10, DCv3 program or higher for the MMS will work on my psp? any instructions i can find in this site? thanks again
