Changing from M33 to GEN and Back Again

I have 3.80 M33-5. I was reading about the conversition program that works on 5.50GEN to play new games and was wondering about changing my firmware.
I do not have a pandora or tool battery. I am assuming that I can simply install 5.50GEN without issue, but if I want to go back to a M33 release (either 5.xx or 6.xx if created) would I need to have anything extra such as the battery to do this?

conversion program ?? errr... ya just download 5.50gen FULL and install it... very simple really...

stop worrying about m33 firmware... 5.50gen-b works great... if they ever release another m33 version it would be simple to just install it .. as simple as it is to install 5.50gen-b

and u cant just upgrade straight up, u need 2 up 2 401 then 500 then 550gen-a then gen-b then gen-b2 IN THAT ORDER or ull brick

upgrade guide is in my sig, so r the patching programs ull need for patching

you need to update to 5.00m33, then to 5.00m33-6 and install the 5.50 GEN-A,-B,-B2 installing Gen updates should be done from 5.00m33-6
