CWCheat issue

I have a problem with CWCheat. It works for all my homebrew games so far, but I currently have a PSX-PSP version of Dragon Quest 7 that it won't let me access the cheat menu by holding select. I had an issue with the game itself having invisible menus/text blocks, so I installed a couple different popsloaders, and had to hold "R" while booting the game, to load it with a different pops version. Found that 4.01 resolved the invisible text issue, but now I can't access CWCheat in the game. Checked my other games, and it lets me access CWCheat in those, just not the DQ7 game. Is there something I'm missing or forgetting?

Make sure your cheatpops database is up to date.

is the cwcheats im using which has the cwcheat database updated and the cheatpops(PSX games) database which has tons of games. Just replace your old cwcheat folder with the one i linked and you should be good.

Otherwise you might have to add cheats if you still get no cheats popping up. In which case google cwcheat database editor should come with a help file how to add your own games and cheats.
