I have bought a old school PSP-1003 with CFW 3.03 oe...
I have downloaded quite a few games from the pspisoz and the majority of them do not work, do I need to upgrade my cfw to run these games? If its possible, which CFW do I upgrade to??
you need to upgrade through the m33 updates through to 5.00m33-6 don't try to jump straight to it do one upgrade at a time, then 5.50 GEN-A,-B,-B2, every major m33 upgrade that's the ones without m33(-2, -4 or -6) on the end then from 5.00m33 to 5.00m33-6
I have mannaged to updgarde to CFW 3.52 m33-4. I have a file to upgrading further now to 3.71 m33.
I am looking at psp-hacks.com website and there are a lot of upgrades to choose from next by the looks of it! I have listed them below...
Do I have to add every below upgrade to my PSP, or can I skip some?? can you tell me which exact order I should upgrade to so as I can get to the latest CFW version??
From 3.71 you can go straight to 5.00, I believe the installer takes you to 5.00m33-4 then the upgrade to -6
This will run all patched games (make sure you turn the memmory speed option in the recovery settings to always )
You can go from there to 5.50 gen D - then D2 - this is stable and can run the unpatched games, however the memory speed speed up is not available and I found many games ran slow when they were .cso's - most run fine when they are iso's

i went from 3.71 to 5.00m33 then -4, had to do a seperate upgrade for 5.00m33-6
