I recently installed custom firmware upon my quaint psp1000,
and thought "Oh, what a great idea this 5.50 Gen-A firmware sounds"
Since, I've been unable to run a few things like gPSP and all things which require a main folder an % folder without getting an error (80020148).
Things like changing the kernel to 1.50 have had no effect,
can anyone help me?
does this software run ISO/CSO and popsloader Eboot.php files, just wondering have you tried updating you psp to the most recent OFW then from that use a pandora battery and but custom firmware on to your pc?
0x80020148 = unsupported PRX type this is the meaning of the error code
pulled off another site

1. make sure you have a UMD in your psp (alot of times if you don't, it won't work)
2. Go to your custom boot menu (Hold R while powering on form a coldboot), go to Plugins, and disable them all (maybe when you upgraded, there were some incompatible plugins
3. If that doesnt work, go to your system settings and format Memory Card, and restore defaults
4. Make sure no-umd mode is off
5. If all else fails.... then i have no clue lol
Yes and yes,
Though, the problem was, Gen-A has no support for 1.50 homebrew yet, PSPGEN is planning on releasing a kernel soon,
Instead I downgraded
Thanks anyway
