fat psp 3.40 to 5.00M33-6 can it be done?

i have a fat psp with custom firmware 3.40 can i easily upgrade it 5.00M33-6 and how do i do it?

I think if you have 3.80 cfw or above you can use the network update to 5.00M33. I know you can for 4.xx and above.
