Having bad luck with Pandora Battery?

Hey guys,

I've been reading up on downgrading and have watched a few youtube videos on making the move from 6.2 to a custom firmware. A few months ago I picked up a Pandora Battery and a memory stick to try it out but I failed and just gave up.

Anyways, I decided I want to give it a shot again but I'm not having any luck with the guides or videos that I have checked out. I was wondering if there is a chance I have a bad Pandora battery. I used the Rain MMS to make a memory stick but can't get the downgrade screen to show. I've been trying to charge this battery for what seems like hours but still no dice.

Edit: PSP-2001

Any thoughts are welcome.

are you holding down the left trigger when you insert the battery?

Thanks for the reply - yeah I was holding down the L trigger. After checking out a few of the Pandora batteries out there I've come to think that the battery I got is for a fat PSP (it is bigger than my slim battery and doesn't fit >_<)

I assume this is the issue... guess I'll have to pick up a slim battery.

i use phat batteries on slims all the time never had an issue.

what happens when you put the battery in, does green light come on with no picture? if so what kind of MMS are you using?
