It's likely that your PSP needs a higher firmware to run the game.

All new games released at the moment need 5.55 or higher!

The highest cfw is currently 5.50!

psp error codes in my signature below
* 0x80020148 = unsupported PRX type
1. make sure you have a UMD in your psp (alot of times if you don't, it won't work)
2. Go to your custom boot menu (Hold R while powering on form a coldboot), go to Plugins, and disable them all (maybe when you upgraded, there were some incompatible plugins
3. If that doesnt work, go to your system settings and format Memory Card, and restore defaults
4. Make sure no-umd mode is off
5. If all else fails.... then i have no clue lol

I recently upgraded my cfw to 5.00 m33-6, still same problem...its a really new game that was realeased recently so i dont know if thats the problem. Ive tried everything in the recovery menu but what do you mean when you say 'no umd is disabled'?
