SO, I am very new to this scene. Got myself a PSP-1000, and was able to add the custom firmware 5.03 M33-6 via the link in this forum without using Pandora. Everything worked fine, and now i have a custom firmware. However, i have tried about 6 ISO's, mostly new games like madden 11, nba2k11, and none of them work. The only one that worked was crazy taxi. I had to press <select> and change the mode to Sony NP9660, and then it worked. However, i tried that for the other games, and they start to load, but then its gets back to the main screen with the "could not load this game" message.

If someone could just tell me why this is happening, and i can go and find the fix. Just not sure exactly what it is. Are there different ISO that will only work with my firmware? Do i need to update to a newer custom firmware(if there is any).

Thanks for any help.

You will need to use torky's m33_620 plugin, download it here and then create a folder on the memory stick root (where the PSP and ISO folders are) and call it seplugins, then move m33_620.prx and the other .prx (can't remember the name) to the seplugins folder.

then make a text file, and call it 'game' then edit it and copy this:

ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 0

Now shutdown the PSP completely (by holding until its off) then turn on while holding 'R' then goto Plugins, and select m33_620.prx and turn it to enabled.

exit the menu and it should work!

This won't help with all games. You might want to look into patching games:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/f133/tut...h-5-55-t254152/

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

This worked perfectly. Thank you very much!

Eisherz, thank you as well. I will visit this link in case i run into a problem running any games. The few that i had that were not working, are working after the torky fix.

There is an easier way.. Look for the game in CSO format. Put that in #/PSP/ISO (# being the letter directory for your psp). After copying the CSO to your PSP, boot your PSP, go to the Game icon and look for your game, being your FW is able to play the game. This does not involve any EBoot Patching and stuff like that. ENJOY!

Yea, because these are already patched.

Exactly. You dont need to mess with all the programs to patch your games. If you would like to know how, go ahead. But it you just want to play the games with out all the work, then CSO files will be there. But you must make sure you are using a CFW. And make sure that CFW can play that game.

I still don't like cso files because I once got a ripped version of Tekken Dark Resurrection (yea, I know, back in the days) where the videos were ripped. The bad thing was that this also killed the savepoint, so after you finished the story mode you went back to menue without saving. Also I once got a version of Infected where all the songs were removed.
You can also get patched iso files, which are patched but untouched, that means nothing is ripped.

I have had no trouble playing CSO files at all. Tekken Dark Res works fine for me... Well untill my psp bricked T.T Anyways, if you do need help getting the CSO's to work, drop me an IM and i can walk you through the proccess.. It also saves space on your card. Another thing to do is un-build the CSO, then rebuild it.. I only had to do that with 3 games.. Other then that, not to much problems..
