Ok prob is: I have a PSP 2001 Darth Vader model meaning TA085V2 motherboard and the Flashing went well..besides the whole buttons not working!!! err...
My process of flashing the PSP 1.I used the pandora and magic stick process simialr to my PSP 1001 version (THAT WENT AWESOMELY SUCCESFUL!!)
--But here it looked and worked well but the *UP BUTTON* is stuck on *UP* always so makes the emualtion,etc... basically pointless
SO me being ME i thought lets try CHICKHEN!!!!
2.HACKED it Chickhen style, and a success!! but.. freakn button is stuck on up again!!!
PLEASE HELP IT HAS TO BE A FLASHING PROBLEM BECASUE in the homescreen (camera>GAME>VIDEOS>BROWSER) it works fine and up dosent stick!!
just any ideas please, the sad thing is i am hacking it for my boss...So yeah, this could suck if i dont fix it :(

I would try reflashing with your pandora setup to see if it will remedy the situation. And for future reference, stay away from chickHEN-that was unnecessary to fool around with that buggy program-it is geared more towards newer psp's that are unable to be be flashed via pandora.
Another possibility is that the button is just physically stuck-it happens. In which case you would just have to remove the faceplate and clean the buttons, rubber pads and contacts with some Q-tips dipped in alcohol.
