I have a psp 3001 with 5.51v fw i updated not to long ago and is wondering if i can downgrade to what i had before ofw 5.03v???? i just stated to read up on iso/cso and requires the 5.03v so is there any help for me out there???

first off i hav some experience modding systems xboxes and so on i've done a few psp's with that had come with my pandoras battery but this 1000 with 5.51 ofw just wont take it can some body help me out ?

well my pandora files came with it when i bought it workd fine om like 3 or 4 mods and then this one even when i get a decent mms creation won't boot to flash jus a green led that's it i've used every installer i can think of half of em can't inject the ipl i hav a modded one runnin runnin 5.50 gen b that i got off a buddy

since it is PSP-1000 rite? use the traditional method, downgrade it to 1.5 and upgrade it to the latest CFW..

i tried that multiple ways and times end result is still the same no mms activity led but power on battery insertion
and now my 2 gig sony stick is tellin me it's not a disk no memory in psp so on and so fourth any one ever ruined one before?

i could before but now it says there is no memory car in psp and if i hhok 2 my pc without the psp it says there is no disk but it's clearly there on my computer and if i check the properties its all free un used space but a RAW format

try formatting it with your computer, and then stick it in the psp and see what happens.

won't work tried that already my pc say's that there is mo disk but it's right there in plain veiw in the comp. root i do hav a sony 512 and a scandisk 1 gig

i tried both of them before my 2 gig failed i think maybe it's unhackable or i'm jus screwing this up ! i'll try it any ways can't do no harm push comes 2 shove i'll update to 6.20 and wait for it 2 b hacked

i figured yours out, i just purchased a phat off ebay when i got it, it was running ofw 3.90 when i put the mms it would not register. i finally got the recovery menu to come up using the mms, but it would not run the program. what i finally figured out was the stupid system was actually running 5.00m33-4 but was spoofed to say 3.90 i had to go in and disable the flash settings, finally just put gen-d3 in the update folder and it ran it from there. all good. maybe this was the issue with yours.

i don't think we're havin the same issue i updated to 6.20 since it wouldn't take a hack so i know it's not runnin cfw plus it wouldn't open up any files (pandora ect.) when it was 5.51 it said they was currupted it can't just b that i'm doin sumthing wrong the mms instrallers are pretty much idiot proof any waz i appreciate the info
