Ok, so I had 5.00 m33-6, then updated to 5.50 GEN-B Full so I could play Gran Turismo. Now that they have a 5.55-6.00 OFW game decryptor for M33, I tried to downgrade to 5.00 m33 again, just beacuse I prefer it. After I did that, there was some condensation under the faceplate, so I took it of and wiped the LCD. The PSP still booted, but froze alot more than it did before. So I tried to re-install 5.00 m33, but it keeps stopping halfway through.
So, is there any way to stop it from freezing?
BTW, it is a semi/full brick. Sometimes I can access recovery, other times I can't

If their isn't any damage to the psp I would simply downgrade and then go back up. It sounds like you just have some corrupted files, if the problem consists after the down/up grade then its obviously a hardware problem.
interesting...what are you using to downgrade? If your not using a Pandora + memory stick I would cut off all plugins for starters.
If your computer wont let you delete files via usb/direct connection I usually use IRshell, but any psp file manager should be able to do the trick. But that would only help if you knew what files was corrupted...if its something in your flash you could possibly just reflash it with the original files (w/ backup or cfw option).
Yes, I'm using a Pandora's battery and MMS made from Rain's Simple MMS Maker. I'm using the classic original installer, so I'm guessing 1.50 OFW so I can actually use my psp. MS is formatted, all that jazz. I can't access recovery at the time, so how can I delete the corrupted flash0 or flash1? BTW, the psp freezes during everything. I cannot access the XMB because it froze during previous downgrades while formatting. I can, however access the Pandora menu
Today, actually a few minuets ago, I was able to downgrade to 1.50. Now the psp works, but whenever I hit the home button, it mutes and the screen button does the same thing. the note button does not seem to mute anything.
