How do you install 5.00M33-6?

I have 4.01M33 on my old PSP 1000, I want to go to 5.50GEN-D3 but I heard you must first have 5.00M33-6 to install it. My question is, when I have 5.00M33 do I have to go through M33-1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to get to 6??? or can I just go from 5.00M33 to 5.00M33-6???

you can upgrade straight to 5.00m33-6 or i have done a couple just going straight to d-3 some people say if you do not go through the steps you miss files. i have machines that i just went straight there and i think they run smoother than the ones i did step by step.
