Depending on what firmware you currently have installed, you could go straight up to 5.50 gen D.

Hey i updated to 5.5 gen a then b then hen u try to install c either the updater freezes while starting up! i tries formatting the memory stick and resetting the flash 1 nth happened cn u plz tell me wt 2 do am currently under the cf 5.50 gen-b

ps. my psx games stoped working! like ff7 and lod
