How to upgrade 3.90 M33 to latest firmware

It's been a long long time since I touched my PSP . I have a slim 2000 series PSP with 3.90 M33 software. So how do I updates it to the best custom firmware currently available ?

Person with the best answer gets an imaginary platinum lara croft idol.



I just bought GTA Chinatown Wars as a UMD. So The Custom firmware should be able to run that game as well as 1.5 Kernel.

Best one because of the multiple updates is 5.50 GEN D-3, first you must upgrade to 5.00 M33-6, then to GEN. Sorry to tell you this, but Dark-Alex is no longer working on the M33 or the PSP Scene. This will play GTA Chinatown wars if you rip it to your memory card. By the way the Slim cannot run 1.5 kernel, since it doesn't contain any Slim code, just PSP-1001.
