Purchased this PSP on ebay a while back and don't have Nand Backup or history of what it has been through.
I've used my pandora stick & battery many time on both slim & fat, it works perfectly fine.

PSP-2001 (Silver Slim)
System Software: 3.71 M33-2
Nickname: Karin
MAC Address - (kind of unusual that it's blank in the PSP)

M33 Recovery Menu Configuration:
Skip Sony Logo: Disabled
Hide corrupt icons: Disabled
Game folder homebre 3.71 Kernel
Autorun... Disabled
UMD... M33 driver - NO UMD -
Fake region... Disabled (Tried every setting but didn't work)
Free UMD Reg... disabled (Tried to enable, didn?t work)
Hard Res...Disabled
Use VshMen... Enabled
XMB usb... Memory stick
Charge when... Disabled

"Format flash1 and reset settings"
Tried it and it get's bricked (won't start to sony boot screen or freezes on Flash0 with Pandora stick & battery)
After which I would need to "flash format" using a guide posted by bily4b.
But after that it's back to "the region code is not correct" error.

Wireless doesn't work:
"An internal error has occurred"
(80410A0B)

All ISO file games are there but I get:"This game cannot be started.
The region code is not correct"

Snes9x:
Doesn't work same error as ISO's(region code not correct)

Tried executing:
1.50 Kernel Addon for 3.80
also
MUX UPDATE 2.0 by KSBO
Both give me same error (region code not correct)

VIDEOS:
MP4's work just fine(movies can be added & watched).
Insert Spider-man2 UMD, then power on PSP after which it prompts:
"The disc could not be read" (you can hear the laser reading the UMD, same happens to UMD games).

I've got an electronics back ground as a career so if there is some kind of soldering or wire reset method that may help please do tell.
