Installing CFW on a Daxter Slim with 3.70 OFW

I finally got a PSP 2000 Daxter bundle off Ebay with 3.70 OFW. Now i know i have two options to put CFW on it. Pandora and ChickHen. I've decided to go with the ChickHen method (Softmod) to put CFW on this PSP. Is there any possibility of bricking when this method is used? Ofcourse nothing can go wrong when the instructions are followed but you'll never know. ChickHen acts differently in every PSP. Is there any possibility of bricking using this method?

the probability of bricking is not much different than an update, if the battery were to go dead during the flash you could brick, same as any other update.

No.. I asked about the method.. ChickHen. Is there a possibility that the PSP will be bricked once i try to run those tiff images? and Hellcats recovery?

The answer you got is correct. ChickHEN or Pandora are both softmods, there is no hardmod for the PSP. With Hellcats recovery flasher you flash another firmware to the PSP, like a normal update with ofw, you just don't use the official updater. So there are the same risks of bricking your PSP like there are when updating to official firmware.
